Black Unscented
I’ve been using scented Dial on my tattoo. What are signs of the tattoo being affected?
It’s 2 1/2 weeks since I got my tattoo, and I was told to use unscented Dial foaming soap and aquaphor. I was told the dial was unscented, and later found out it ended up having fragrance in the ingredients, and although I never experienced anything bad, other than one little tiny scab, and a little itching, I wanna know what symptoms should you notice on the tattoo. I mean, does it discolour it? My tattoo is black and grey, and it obviously is lighter than when i got it, but I was told that’s normal. One more thing…would picking up an unscented soap now make a difference?? Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.
also, I forgot to include this, but I have many tiny bumps on the tattoo…is that because of the dial or maybe the coat of aquaphor needs to be thinner?
scented doesn’t really make that much of a difference they basically just tell you that because it does cause a little bit more burning than unscented…..its sort of like having a bad sunburn and putting scented lotion on it……scabs and itching are totally normal just remember not to itch them to much because if it begins to bleed it will actually bleed out the ink or so im told by a friend who had it happen as long as you don’t have any pain in the area of your tattoo you probably don’t have an infection…..mine flaked and itched for almost 2 weeks so don’t worry…..if the bumps are actually on the lines and such of thee tattoo it is perfectly normal that is just the extra ink being brought to the surface by your blood plasma….if it is causing you no discomfort just wait it out a week or so more until the itching stops and they should go away.
