Help! Urgent! Removing plastic holder from arm bouquet?
My prom is today and I just picked up my arm bouquet. I was expecting just the flowers tied together with ribbon but instead they are in a plastic holder with a large blanket of ugly white mesh wrapped around that, all tied up with ribbon on the outside. The flowers are beautiful but the plastic/mesh is so ugly! If I took that off and tie just the flowers back up with the ribbon will it fall apart and I will have no flowers or should I go for it?
Is the plastic holder filled with water?
If so, you should leave them in the water.
If you have some extra wide ribbon that will match your dress maybe you could replace the white mess wrapped around it. and maybe it would better suit your needs. Or wait until closer to prom and then tie the flowers with the ribbon and take out of the plastic holder then. The tube is to help keep the flowers fresh and alive.
