Wedding favour – seeds, what can i put them in?

I want to give seeds in my favour boxes but the seed pods you get online are too expensive to buy so i want to make my own. I’m looking for a really tiny envelope or some kind of seed pod bag thingie i can write on or put a bow around… any ideas?

Michaels craft stores sells packages of tulle rounds and elegant paper rounds (almost like napkins but with beautiful prints). You place your seeds in the middle of the rounds, draw up the edges and place a ribbon around the top to create little sachets. Very elegant for a party favor. You can also find little red envelopes that have a Chinese character printed in gold on the front (used at weddings, the birth of babies, housewarmings, etc.) which are elegant and can be sealed. Ranch 99 markets carry them, Asian markets and souvenier stores. You can write on the envelopes with gold and silver marker pens.
