floating candles?????
for my wedding i need 70 floating candles. on ebay there is a listing for 70 heart shaped floating candles with glitter on them for $45.25 total including shipping.
is this a good deal or could i do better?.
if you find a better price please include the shipping costs in the total.
That’s a fairly decent deal including shipping. I ordered mine from quickcandles.com and if you sign up for their emails they send you discount codes. 72 floating candles 2″ from there is $35.99 without shipping and without a discount. They are great candles though, the 2″ ones burn for five hours too, which is enough time for the reception and if you want a longer burning time they also have the 3″ candles. I’ll post the link to their floating candles page below, they even offer them with glass holders etc. They ship within 24 hours and are a great company to work with, they also offer them in a variety of colors. The only thing I would caution you on with the heart shaped ones is that they don’t burn evenly, my girlfriend used them for her wedding and because of the shape a bunch of them burned out near the top of the heart and the water doused them and they did not look as nice lit. We used the round ones and they burned for the full five hours and didn’t go out so they were great. Also make sure that the heart ones aren’t scented, a lot of people forget to check on that and there’s nothing worse then walking into a reception for dinner and the whole place smelling like a heavily scented rose garden etc. It’s better to go with unscented!
