Is a groom’s wedding day bliss only in movies?
I know that movies are often a bit off, but when the narrator’s voice talks about the loving look on the groom’s face when the bride comes up the aisle, does that actually happen? I wish to get married one day and I don’t expect my future husband to want to get too involved with the planning, but I would be heartbroken if he ruined the day for me by not enjoying himself.
if you don’t expect him to be involved with the planning, then that is mistake #1. Why can’t you get both involved so both will enjoy the day.
Weddings for the bride and groom is not a relaxing time. You are the host and hostess and you wind up being up making sure all of your guests are having a good time.
Movies are just fantasy, and if you try to think that movies represent real life then you are in for huge disappointments. Why not wait until you actually find someone to marry before you worry about the wedding day. You might find yourself falling in love with someone who doesn’t ever want to get married or decides he wants to elope and not have a ceremony.
