Hearts Ivory Bridal
I saw a dress I really liked last year at David’s Bridal with a heart-shaped corset and now I can’t find it.
The dress had a heart-shaped corset top and the skirt puffed out from the waist. I really want a picture of the dress, or at least the top part, but I can’t find it anywhere online. I’m hoping someone out there who bought this dress before it vanished has a picture of it they don’t mind sharing. The one I saw in the store was in ivory, but any color will do – I’m interested more in the shape and structure of the top so I can explain it to a seamstress.
It’s not just a sweetheart neckline – the front of it was corseted in an actual heart shape. It had sleeves, not a halter or strapless. The boning of the corset in front was visible as raised ribs, and it came down to a point between the hips. The whole front formed the heart shape. I’m pretty sure it was an older style even then, as they only had one on hand and it was pretty small.
