Huge Tulle Wedding
Need ideas for what to use white lights for at wedding?
I want the reception to be dimmly lit with lots of candle light and Christmas lights (Christmas themed wedding). Someone just gave me a huge bag FULL of Christmas lights on white string. Only problem is, I don’t know what to use them for! I’m draping tulle from the pews in the ceremony and mixing the lights in with that to line the aisle, but I’d like to use them somehow in the reception too, but I’m not sure how. The head table will have tulle draped over the front with the lights mixed in but I don’t want to use tulle too much because I feel like it looks cheap when overused. Any ideas?
I’ve been to 2 beautiful weddings where they had lights like that strung overhead on the rough beams in the reception hall. if your reception hall doesn’t have beams overhead tho, you can’t do that. maybe a porch railing or staircase railing at the church or reception hall.
