Lighted Wedding
I want to make a “canopy of lights’ for a wedding reception hall – does anyone have any suggestions on how?
I am having my wedding reception in a hall of a church that is basically a basketball court. I want to make the room more romantic and hide the basketball hoops by making it look tent like with a canopy of lights. Any suggestions would be great!
If you can find them, I’d use the “net lights” that you can get a Christmas. They’re just big squares of lights woven together that kinda resembles a fisherman’s net. If the wedding is a least another month or so away they should be easy to get at places like WalMart. You could use fishing line, tied in different places to get the draping effect you need to make it look like a tent.
