Mini Open Roses
Is anyone else frustrated at the choice offered in a tin of Cadbury’s Roses?
Over the years, ALL my favourites have been eliminated. Casualties include:-
Almond Bites – deceased
Montelimar – deceased
Marzipan – deceased
Noisette Whirl – missing; presumed deceased
Truffle Log – deceased
Coconut Bite – deceased
Coffee Creme – executed for treason
Mini Bourneville – deceased
Mini Dairy Milk – destroyed but re-built as a more powerful model
Now you open a tin of Roses, and you are greeted by faceless solid chocolate variants, a few toffees, and the holy Caramel Keg.
If the Caramel Keg dies in service, I shall honestly lose the will to live.
Anyone else appalled at this state of affairs???

I can’t stand the strawberry cremes, orange cremes etc. At Christmas we used to get a tin of Roses in our office to share. It was given to us by one of the more benevolent salesmen. My friend and I used to swap each other, because she liked those sickly fruit cremes. Yukkk
And no, there is nothing to compare with the old style Roses. my absolute favourite was the marzipans. Yummy, I could eat a tin full, in fact Cadbury’s used to make a chocolate marzipan bar which was VERY delicious. Another favourite that has gone by the wayside.
