Notebooks Pens
What do I need to buy for university? (school supplies, notebooks… that kinda stuff)?
I’m going into mechanical engineering and I will be living at home; not on campus. So, what do I need to buy? Other than a laptop, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, 5- 10 notebooks, highlighters, and a few duo tangs………….
is there anything else I may need?
This stuff is all really useful but the biggest expense will be your textbooks – I had to buy about 8 every year ranging from £5 – £65 – my ex had to buy a chemistry book for £80!! (I did do French and Italian though)
My uni had a second hand bookshop where you could buy other people’s books that they had finished with for a fraction of the price usually down from £30 to maybe about £6 depending on condition. The bonus was that you could sell yours back too so after your first year you can sell your book to a new first year and buy the second year book cheaply!
