Choosing a Halloween costume can be frustrating sometimes. There are so many different ones out there ranging from $20 up into the $100 range. How do you know which ones will fit if you are ordering online? How do you know the ones you buy at your local store will last for not just one Halloween but for years to come? Where do you go to buy costumes?
These are all common problems that consumers may have during the fall season. If you live in a colder climate, you will need to make sure you get a costume that’s warm enough in case the weather is cold.
There are a lot of trendy as well as classic costumes out there. Which one is best for you or your child? Here are a few simple tips you can employ to pick out the perfect costume. First, do some browsing online and narrow down the choices to find out which Halloween costume will be best for your situation and the weather in your area. Next try to find one that is made of quality material and preferably is machine washable in case your child spills on it at a party or so it doesn’t get ripped and will last for next year as well as this one.
One line of costumes that is very good is Little Adventures. They are a well known brand based in Utah that sells costumes that are all high quality as well as machine washable. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality. For example, if you are looking for a Cinderella costume for your little girl, they have 2 to choose from. One is called “Traditional” which is basic. It is machine washable and high quality still and is under $27. Sometimes you can find them on sale for $22 or under. They come in 4 sizes from 12 months all the way up to girls size 10. The second choice is called “Deluxe” this is a more fancy version and has bright fabrics and an organza overlay on the skirt with extra embellishments. These deluxe dresses sell for under $37 or on sale in the $30 range. They are available on ebay and Amazon as well.
Little Adventures has a large variety of girls Halloween costumes and some boys costumes and adult women’s princess costumes. They even have matching costumes for a doll or bear! The adult, boys, and girls costumes are all machine washable and made well so they won’t fall apart. Some costumes even last for years, and families pass them down from child to child.
There are so many options out there. You can look at your local discount stores to get ideas and then you can go online to see if you can get it cheaper or a better quality. The costumes at discount stores are notoriously poor quality and are bound to last no longer than the one Halloween costumes.
Whatever your decision is, make sure you look around a lot first and find a costume that will last you or your children a while. They can even use their costumes for fun dress up play time during the year. Their Halloween costume doesn’t have to be put away in a box, they can use it for extra fun every day!
