Petals Favors
I have it all planned out, but is it backfiring on me? Or am I just being silly?!?
Okay basically my b/f is coming back from a snowboarding trip this weekend, and I wanted to surprise him and when I go to his house, I planned on cooking a nice (all homemade) pasta, w/ white wine (for the drink) & caramel chocolate cheescake for desert. Followed by some rose petals leading from his bed to the shower w/ candles lit everywhere. The only problem is…I texted him and let him know I have a surprise for him when he gets back, & he hasn’t responded or anything? Soo…I don’t know now? He’s always cooked for me, and took care of me when I’ve been sick. So I just thought I could let him know, that I appreciate what’s he’s done for me…my returning the favor(s). I also want to let him know that I am not a needy girl or “lazy” by having him do everything. Wow…I guess I just wanted to be nice, but so much for that? Anyone else want to have dinner…haha. 
Should I wait until this weekend and see what happens? I need some advice. What to do?
You are AWESOME. I think any guy would be pleasantly surprised to have that waiting. It is so cool that you have this all planned out, to make it a special time.
Don’t let the fact that he hasn’t responded back via text. He probably is busy and hasn’t had a chance to check his phone. Give him the benefit of the doubt. At some point before he gets back, I still think it is important to at least get in touch with him either by text or a phone call.
