Rose Centerpiece
Does anyone know where I can find cheap rose petals?
I am trying to save money for my wedding and I want to use them with my centerpieces at my wedding.
I tried silk ones from Hobby Lobby, but they sink to the bottom of th bowl that we are going to be using.
hi many flower places, sell day old or a few day old roses for a $1. a piece. If you order rose petals specifically (fresh ones) they will charge you an arm & a leg.
BUT–if you go in a few days prior to your wedding, or send a friend to a different flower store that does this & you should shop around to find a few before you do this.
Send out that many friends, to buy as many as they can the day prior to your wedding OR the day of your wedding if there is time. Roses can be kept in the fridge.
Then have your friends help you shred the petals from the stems & use them.
I also hunted around in yard sales & found artifical ones that someone was selling for 1/5 the price of ones in the store!
