Shiny Diamond Confetti

I suddenly saw glimmering confetti falling all around me for 15-20 seconds, eye problem?

I don’t know what happened but I saw these shiny diamond-like confetti falling about a foot from where I was sitting. I panicked and started breathing faster because I thought I was going to die and these were the lights people saw when they die or something…(I was in a bathroom stall with my pants down at work so I couldn’t exactly run out) but then I realized I felt fine and I looked closer at the lights and saw that it was just crumbling down slowly and sparkled like shiny diamonds. It was beautiful and truly unbelievable. I remember looking on the ground to see if it would go away but in the corner of my eye I still saw a couple still falling down slowly. Then it was gone. I looked at my watch and it was noon. Then I got myself up and went straight to the mirror to look at my eyes. Everything was fine. This happened on New Year’s Eve. Can anyone explain what happened to me?
