What color should i use for a 50th wedding anniversary party?
We are throwing a 50th wedding anniversary surprise party. I was going to use gold, white, and black but i want another accent color what color should I use?
lavender. or violet. those go well with the other colors.
may i just say this? does it have to be a surprise? for older people this may not be a good idea. i feel they should know they are getting this party as soon as possible. i have been part of planning more than a few of these, and, i have learned that older people want to be able to tell their friends about the impending party,, they want to be able to ‘brag’ that their kids, and family are planning this party for them, they want to be able to look forward to it, just as if they were getting married again, and, especially, they want to look their best. older people dont just go to the closet and throw on a dress and look great. it took my own mom a long while to find just the right suit, have it altered, get her hair just right, it took some weeks, and she looked great. but she would have just been dismayed at a surprise, because she would not have been able to prepare herself properly.
this is just my own experience with this.
