where to find wedding supplies for a spooky/scary/vampire/goth wedding?
where can i find wedding supplies such as favors or decor for a spooky/scary/vampire/goth wedding? any website?
Since Halloween or Party stores tend to sell stuff that looks really cheap or tacky, your best option would be to hit-up a craft store and make the majority of your decor.
One thing you could prob find at a party store (like iParty or Party City) is a couple of skeleton figures as a wedding cake topper.
What about making centerpieces or bouquets from dried roses? Just hang the flowers upside down for a few days until they are dry. If you’re using them for centerpieces, you can hit-up any nearby craft supply store (a pretty cheap one is Micheal’s) to buy a bunch of plain, inexpensive clear glass vases, stick the roses in the vase (no water of course, just criss-cross the stems to provide a cool visual effect in the body of the vase. Or maybe use polished black glass “stones”) and use some black tulle or netting (you can buy a bolt of the stuff for pretty cheap at a fabric store like JoAnn’s fabrics) to tie around the top of the vase.
You could give out votive candles with holders for favors. Just buy some clear glass votive holders, then wrap a perfectly cut-to-size piece black mesh around each one. Coat the mesh with Modge-Podge (available at any craft store) to bind the two together. Throw in a red or black votive to complete the look
OR……. an easier idea would be to just buy red glass votive holders (once again, you can cheap ones at big craft store) and fill with black jellybeans (or any other candy you like) and tie some black tulle around them.
