Ideas for wedding reception decorations!?
I am getting married in June of 2011. My colors are going to be aqua and silver and I am going with the double wedding ring theme. What are some creative decoration ideas I could use with this theme and the colors. I kinda need to be on a tight budget, but I have a little room to spend. Please help if you can 
the easiest and fastest way to bring your color scheme to life is with table toppers. use white clothes or skirts that go to the floor for the base and then either rent or buy table toppers in that aqua color you want to use. you can rent them at: http://www.table_linen_rental.com/Blues-C95.html
you can add your silver by either buying some great silver fabric at your local fabric store and cutting runners for your tables….about 10 to 12 inches wide and 6 feet longer than the table is long, if you want them to hang to the floor. or you could rent or buy silver plated candle holders in various shapes and sizes to put on your tables in groups of three. or you can use silver plated votive holders in various places on the tables in groups of three or in a circle around your center pieces. or you could buy or rent silver plated mint julip cups to use as vases for your flowers. or silver plated bud vases from the dollar store with a beautiful single bloom of what ever your flowers are (roses look best with this) and a bit of filler in each one set on a mirror trivet and surrounded by votive candles.
if you can’t fit the cost of renting table toppers in your budget, you can make them by going to the fabric store and finding some really nice fabric in your aqua color and cutting it in the sizes that will fit your tables….you don’t have to hem them for this or anything. just ask the clerk for material that will not run when it is cut and they will also help you figure out how much you need if you take the table dimensions with you.
